This summer has been full of small steps: painting outside, preparing print samples, dreaming about future art fairs, and letting new floral works slowly bloom.
My newest painting, Silent Glow / Hiljainen hehku, was touched by Finnish summer light.
I worked on it outside, and somehow the garden, the warm air and the quiet movement of nature became part of the painting.
It feels like soft nature fantasy — romantic flowers rising from violet mist, glowing quietly from an inner garden.

In May 2026, my five-piece painting series The Cosmic Deer Herd was selected for the Riga Contemporary Surrealism Biennale 2026.
It was my first exhibition experience, and seeing my own paintings as part of an international surrealist art event was deeply moving and unforgettable.

Cosmic Deer Herd is a series exploring collective movement, shared destiny, and quiet persistence across time and space.
The deer - ancient, mythic, and deeply rooted in Northern visual memory, become cosmic travelers.
They move in the same direction, not as a rigid formation but as a living constellation: large and small, visible and nearly dissolving into the background.
The landscapes are not terrestrial.
The series reflects on the idea of life as a shared journey, where individual paths unfold within a collective movement.
There is no urgency, no climax. Only continuity, memory, and the quiet knowledge of moving forward together.
Cosmic Deer Herd invites the viewer to slow down and witness a form of coexistence where difference does not disrupt direction,
