Between Worlds and Inner Landscapes
On the Shore of Space is born from moments spent on the rocky shores of Reposaari, where the sea, the sky, and the surrounding nature seem to dissolve into one grand universe.
The sun-warmed rock, the constantly churning sea, and the vast open sky awaken a sense of connection to something much larger—an inner peace where time and the world disappear for a moment.
In the works of this exhibition, the visible and the invisible, the real and the imagined come together.
Cosmic landscapes, animal figures, symbols, and inner worlds build a dreamlike whole, where nature can transform into space and imagination into something that might just be real.
The Cosmic Deer Herd Wanders in Reposaari
At the heart of the exhibition is the five-part artwork The Cosmic Deer Herd (Riga Contemporary Surrealism Biennale 2026), where deer wander through dreamlike and cosmic landscapes.
The mythology associated with deer echoes in the background of these works. It brings forth the concept of a cosmic journey—a creature moving between worlds.
Alongside them are works where space, symbols, and inner landscapes find their own form.
“I am a piece of the universe here on the rock – just like waves in the sea or planets in the sky.”
In my works, nature, animal figures, the sea, dreams, memories, and the cosmos intertwine into surreal and symbolic worlds.
My art moves between romantic nature scenes, surreal realms, and inner landscapes.
I am fascinated by the powerful emotions and fleeting moments evoked by nature, when the ordinary world can suddenly feel magical.
My paintings are like small windows into worlds where time and perspective lose their meaning, and where the viewer is invited to build their own story.
A warm welcome on a journey to the shore of space – either for the opening or to experience the artwork at your own pace during September!

The Cosmic Deer Herd
Cosmic Deer Herd is a series exploring collective movement, shared destiny, and quiet persistence across time and space.
The deer - ancient, mythic, and deeply rooted in Northern visual memory, become cosmic travelers.
They move in the same direction, not as a rigid formation but as a living constellation: large and small, visible and nearly dissolving into the background.
The landscapes are not terrestrial.
The series reflects on the idea of life as a shared journey, where individual paths unfold within a collective movement.
There is no urgency, no climax. Only continuity, memory, and the quiet knowledge of moving forward together.
Cosmic Deer Herd invites the viewer to slow down and witness a form of coexistence where difference does not disrupt direction,
